Apple ‘Time Flies’ Event for 2020 has wrapped and, as expected, it brought a lot of exciting announcements. As most of us expected, the iPhone 12 did not happen but the tech giant announced a much more interesting line-up with a new iPad Air, 8th gen iPad, Apple Watch Series 6 and SE, Apple One, iOS 14 at the virtual event.

If you weren’t able to watch Apple Event 2020 live or want a quick summary of Apple Event 2020, don’t worry, we’ve got your back. From the new Apple watches to Apple One, here’s everything you wanted to know about the Apple ‘Time Flies’ Event 2020.

Apple Watch Series 6 and SE:

The first product announced in the Apple ‘Time Flies’ Event 2020 is the brand-new Apple Watch Series 6. It brings advanced features including SpO2 tracking, always-on screen, hand-washing detection, and Family setup feature along with other features from its previous edition like the FDA-cleared ECG app. The biggest upgrade to the Series 6 is the Blood Oxygen app that measures oxygen saturated in the blood or SpO2. It uses infrared sensors located at the back of the watch to measure the colour of your blood and determines the percentage of oxygen in your body. This is an important health feature because oxygen saturation has become a key metric to monitor during the COVID-19 pandemic as low blood oxygen levels are one of the symptoms of COVID-19. It also features real-time fitness evaluation and cardio fitness alerts with the help of Vo2 max reading that measures maximum oxygen consumption during exercise. Series 6 comes with Solo Loop, a new type of band that just slides on your wrist like a band. You also can customize the watch face with the Memoji option.

It has a built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, sleep tracking, fall detection, and hand-washing detection. This model is aimed to attract a new audience of smartwatch wearers including children with its Family Setup feature.
